Call me crazy, call me mad, but I got a urine detector! LOL
It detects the spots where your pets urinate while you’re not looking! :D For example I have a couch that Delilah (one of our 2 cats) insists on marking (leaving tiny spots of urine), every few weeks. But goodness when she does it, it really stinks and it takes a lot of hard work to get rid of the stain (the look), and the odor (the feel, I mean it stinks. Those who smell cat urine, can never forget that smell any more ever).
So yes, I am having a tough time with these stains. I tried WooLite Pet odor remover that I bought from the Sultan center, but I just don’t feel like it’s effective, plus it smells even worse than urine itself. I can still smell the urine and can pretty much see the round darker shape (when wet, and lighter when dry) left on the couch.
So I was just surfing on the Cat Owners & Lovers in Kuwait group yesterday and Areej posted a picture of a UV urine spot detector that PAWSH had just imported to Kuwait. First I was not very excited about it, but as the geek in me started coming back I realized I had to get it, and I had to be one of the first people in Kuwait to have it! Lol I’m a weirdo.
So I ordered the Spot Spotter – UV Urine detector online from Pawsh. It’s 13kd and it needs 8 AA batteries. I got it today, along with two other products; one for removing pet stains and odors from the carpets and one from the upholstery and can’t remember, I got it for a couch we have that Delilah likes marking. Didn’t I already say that? Sorry I’m sleepy.
So here is my order arrived today and I already tried the spot spitter spotter (oh goodness, imagine carrying a spitter around lol. sorry I was obviously too sleepy last night) to see the violet light and its working! I just don’t know how to use it. Anyways that’s all for now. Will keep you posted.

My dog Moon start marking at my couch lately, his urine smell is soooo bad and the worst thing that the couch is IN MY ROOM! I tried the common brands such as Detole and Lifebuoy and others but the smell never gone away! So I will give the stain and odor remover for now :'( I don't want to throw my beautiful couch away.
Hanan, detol and other commercial brands never work, because they do not kill the bacteria that causes the smell. So, no matter how many times you use dettol, the cat/dog can still smell where they last marked/urinated and they do it on the same spot. Simple Solution products is specifically made to kill this bacteria- AND it smells heavenly. Give it a go!
