So I get some call yesterday from someone (I don’t want to mention since Kuwait has become full of such short tempered people that I don’t want to get in trouble with anyone) expressing their discomfort with all this fuss I’m creating about cash/food donations, polls about new ideas on donations and including some links from other ‘public’ websites in my posts to some cases where help is needed.
Therefore I felt the need to let everyone know that I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY shelter or group of people or any individual. When I help I just help by spreading the word, and I will continue doing it as long as I collect this information from public locations (people, websites, Facebook pages and groups), and I don’t see any reason why this should be not ethical to do since all the info are public. This info could include posts about animals and their stories on other blogs, websites and Facebook groups/pages, events that are announced publicly, donation requests that are announced online, and anything you can think of related to the animals.
Again, I do not represent anyone but myself. When I collect donations I do out of good will and I WILL NEVER collect donations for ANY OFFICIAL ORGANIZATION, I started doing it for the Foster Guardian Group last week. They are a group of people that don’t belong to anyone but themselves and lend a hand to the animals in need, they spend from their own pockets to take the animals they find to the hospital, buy their food and toilet needs and sometimes they have around 20 animals that they take care of at a given time. and I find what they are doing such a noble thing -since i’m not the type that would easily be comfortable in bringing a pet from the street to my home- that I want to empower them more by providing financial aid through donations, so they can rescue more animals. I mean how far one can get with their own salaries when they have to pay rent and the other financial commitments that they could have?
However, who doesn’t trust me please DO NOT DONATE. I do not go and rescue animals from the streets because I am not that brave so I respect those who go out and get their hands dirty SO MUCH that I help them in the other ways I can such as making their voices heard (since i’m a social media savvy and have been managing blogs, FB pages and bookmarking sites successfully). So my vision is to build an online community of animals lovers where people will help animals regardless of which shelter is taking care of them, where they come from, what breed they are, how much abused they are.
Now the issue is that some people don’t want to be helped. Fine. What I find strange is voice tone used and the attitude in the call from someone I don’t know at all. One particular sentence ‘said to me about me’ was: “People are asking me who the HELL is this person”. Now I don’t know about other people, but in my 11 years career that deals with PR and Digital Marketing and Communications with people, I’ve never used, and won’t even think of using such poor language with any business or personal contact that I have. Even if I wanted to quote someone else, I would still put a ‘vocal strikethrough’ on that inappropriate word. Anyways not a big deal. Not my first time and definitely not my last to come across such people.
Cool, I love my readers and I love what I do and will continue doing it. I am not doing anything illegal, nor unethical. And I am definitely not interfering in anybody’s business. My main goal is to spread awareness, collect financial aid for people who can’t get donations and need to help the animals who accept my help, and of course bring the public news about events and pets for adoption from the 2 shelters and any other source that I can find announced to the public.

continue doing what you do- This site will very soon become the most popular destination for animals in Kuwait, and these so called organizations are obviously threatened you will generate way more awareness than they will ever hope for. Your site is on the internet, domain name and hosting is under international jurisdiction, by international and Kuwait Law you are protected by the CC and CAN act, so you have every freedom to say what you like as long as it is not in obstruction of the Kuwaiti constitution. Screw appropriate behaviour. Nobody gives a crap about you, so if I were you, Id do the same.
This site is obviously designed to build awareness and you are definitely doing a much better job than they are, so keep it up and don't stutter.
I really can't see why any "Sane Individual" would object to ANYTHING put up on "Human's & Animals". What the F@#k?!!

I can't believe how unappreciative some people can be. The worst part is that they are supposed to be representing an ORGANIZATION– and they are obviously giving that organization a horrible name with their poor behavior. You should contact the head of the organization and let them know about this situation.
